Progress in AI Model Training and Mobile App Design

The past week in ISM was productive and exciting! I successfully completed the first training phase for my AI model, using a portion of the HAM10000 dataset, achieving an accuracy of 67.47%. This model is the core of my original work submission, which I turned in last week. Although the accuracy is relatively low, I am optimistic and will continue refining the model to improve its performance. I utilized a convolutional neural network architecture and trained it using TensorFlow, applying the insights I gathered from my research. Beyond the AI model, I also began drafting design plans for the mobile app itself, drawing inspiration from my previous mobile projects. I am making sure the design aligns with my personal brand by using consistent colors and layouts to create a cohesive user experience. While these two components are progressing well, I am also turning my attention toward my ISM display board, which I will begin constructing this week based on the plans I already have in place. This display board will be key for showcasing my progress and explaining my work to peers, mentors, and visitors at upcoming ISM events. Altogether, I feel energized by my recent progress and excited to dive deeper into my project’s technical and creative aspects in the coming weeks.
