The first two weeks of ISM have been amazing! I learned a lot about how the program will work, and it was better than I thought it would be, especially since I didn’t expect we would have help with our resumes and LinkedIn profiles, which is fantastic! I can’t wait to give a push to my professional life using these resources. I improved my brand during these two weeks by converting ideas and fragments into concise guidelines, which I hope to follow this year. I also made a mission statement for myself that I wish to adhere to throughout this year and when I start college next year. I have established some SMART goals that I will follow throughout this month which will help me lay the foundation for my research and ultimately help me pursue the ideas that I came with to ISM. Currently, I am researching possible cancer types that can benefit from AI analysis using a mobile phone. After identifying those, I plan to narrow down the list to a particular cancer type that I will further research to identify specific applications of AI, which can, for example, be early detection. I can’t wait to explore what’s ahead in this journey!
